Welcome to Shawnee Family Health Center! We are a dedicated team of healthcare professionals committed to providing high-quality medical care to our patients. Established in 1973 as a non-profit mental health center, Shawnee can boast as being the oldest mental health center in the region.

 

Over the years we have expanded our services to better meet the needs of the communities we serve. In 2018 we became a Federally Qualified Health Center – Look-alike so that we could provide primary care, integrated with our behavioral health services to our patients. Now we are a comprehensive primary care and behavioral health service provider.

 

Our team is comprised of experienced physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, counselors, case managers, employment specialists, peer specialists, care coordinators and support staff who work together to provide personalized care to each patient. Whether you need a routine check-up or treatment for a chronic physical or mental health condition, we are here to help. We believe that everyone should have access to quality primary care and behavioral health care; therefore, we do not deny services to those with the inability to pay. To help you maintain good health, we also have a discount medication program for those receiving services at one of our clinics. People eligible for this program are those without insurance and those who are underinsured (other requirements may also apply). We want to make sure that you have access to the medications you need to stay healthy.
