Counseling services are designed to teach people the skills necessary to manage situational and phase of life problems. These services are brief and solution-focused. Treatment plans are developed for four to six sessions; however, we understand that there are times when additional treatment is needed, so treatment plans can be updated or extended if there is a specific need.
Since services are brief and solution-focused, clients are not typically referred to one of the staff psychiatrists for medication.
Group counseling is also available depending on client need.
